Games as Political Actors in Digital Journalism

The goal of this study is to explore the role digital games as political actors in journalism. development designed frame journalistic messages led emergence newsgames. In article, we current relationship between communication and newsgames by answering following research question: How do outlets use report, interpret, critically analyze polities?<em> </em>In study, an inductive grounded theory approach was used 29 published 25 mass-media across 11 different countries. findings reveal that employ perform four distinct functions when covering events: analytical reportage, commentary, critical scrutiny, representation.
